Well, this is a long time coming. Jack is now 2 years old and every day gets better and better as a mom. Jack talks up a storm. I LOVE the talking! He takes after me, for sure. Mr. Social! He loves to play outside, he loves balls, all kinds. He loves to help me clean the house. He even has his own broom so he can sweep along side me. He especially loves to wash dishes. I put this really cute apron on him and let him go to town on the dishes. It occupies him for quite a while so I can get other things done and he stays out of the way. He really loves his grandmas. Today we met my mom and grandma in St. Cloud for lunch and a short shopping trip. He was so excited to see Great Grandma. All morning he would say, "gwait bamma" SOO cute! And of course they were just as excited to see him. We are so blessed that we have 4 generations in our family and get to enjoy each other.
Jack also repeats everything I say, for the most part. We are very careful about swearing because if one swear word comes out of our mouth he repeats is about 5 times. Earlier tonight I said , "damn it" and he said. "damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it." John and I were covering our mouths to keep from laughing. Hilarious!
Well this one is short and sweet on a jack update, but it is my commitment to try to write something most days on the funny that happens as a parent and Jacks life. I want this to be something he can treasure forever and pass onto his family someday.
